I feel that Ornstein"s early 20th piano music(in which he was just a teenager) was more of "historical interest"(just MY opinion and apparently Ornstein's opinion also)----though this piece written when ORSTEIN WAS 90 ???---is fantastic--- a 20 th century masterpiece!! (at least in my opinion)

It is not a EARLY 20th music.
This piece composed in 1990s.
Ornstein's music is truly amazing and I believe there are no such as "real" or "unreal" music.

This movement reminds me of some parts of Ives' 1st Piano Sonata.
