@pilotswife01 wow, sorry to bring this back from 1 year ago but... You can see a parachute from 0:32-0:33 just before the camera moves. when the left wingtip hits the canopy is on the aircraft still like you said, but most pilots will wait until the last possible moment to bail out. Just look at a USAF Thunderbirds F-16 crash in colorado. Theres is actually a picture of the pilot bailing out almost as the falcon is hitting the ground, not only that the Su-27 pilot could've bailed earlier too. (:

@JosephHallenbeck No, those are not seats you see in the air. Look again, when that left wingtip hits, the canopy is still intact ON the aircraft.

That is interesting, but there was NO ejection on this crash. I know the one you refer to, but this is not part of that crash.

"only" 85 ppl was killed and another 100 wounded, both pilots ejected and survived, but was put in trial and found guilty of failing to follow orders, negligence and violating flight rules, and was put in jail.
Another wrong data on the video is that it says it happened in Kiev. That isnt true either, it happened on Sknyliv Airfield, near Lvov

Ive seen the full vid and the Pilot does eject JUST prior to hitting the ground....search on YouTube for full vid...very graphic...lots of dismembered bodies...ploghed straight through a viewing area...thats why so many died...
