Theatrical trailer for the 1951 Gene Autry western, HILLS OF UTAH. At this time, Autry's career in front behind the camera had reached a prodigious output. He produced and starred in six theatrical features in 1951, was in the midst of production of his weekly GENE AUTRY and RANGE RIDER television series, appeared weekly on his long-running MELODY RANCH radio broadcasts and made 57 one-night performances in the U.S. and Canada. He also released three songs which were top ten hits on both the country and pop charts: RUDOLPH, THE RED-NOSED (a #1 hit the previous year, it reached #3 spot on this re-issue); FROSTY, THE SNOWMAN (#7) and HERE COMES PETER COTTONTAIL (#5), which is featured in this film. Not too bad for a telegrapher from Tioga, Texas...
