I was in the pit at Blizzcon and let me tell you that stage was over 500 yards from the back of the room. It was fucking huge. I could hear the crowd in the pit and everyone was going crazy! of course they didn't show the 5 mosh pits (1 included a security guard and a blizzard employee) or the countless number of crowd surfers. and I have to agree with you the acoustics in that center were not meant for a concert.

Dude some people don't know shit... The mic only works from like a max of 2 meters away from the main singer which means you can't hear the audience...

You guys need to put down the iPhone 3G's, and just go fucking crazy. I'm sick of seeing half the audience jumping and having the time of their lives, and the other half just standing their with a fucking video recorder. Enjoy yourself THERE, because it's a one in a lifetime experience.
