Concerned Citizens for Jenny, a grass-roots Dallas Metroplex citizens group, advocates for retiring African elephant Jenny to The Elephant Sanctuary, a 2,700 acre natural habitat refuge. Learn more at http://www.savejenny.org
Jenny has spent the last twenty-two years eking out a pitiful and miserable existence in a less than one quarter acre barren and antiquated exhibit at the Dallas Zoo. She has lived in solitary confinement since May of 2008, which is inherently cruel as female elephants are intensely social creatures and require the company of others of their species to thrive and remain emotionally healthy.
We believe that Jenny deserves better.
Who has the sole responsibility to say this poor sad creature has to stay imprisoned in her hell? Are they human?
Whoever it is should have the wrath of hell put upon them for being able to watch Jenny's torment each day and not be touched by it. She has already did 22yrs at this hideous place called Zoo. Some murderers do not have a sentence this long. As far as i know Jenny is innocent of any crimes, Hello Dallas Hello USA let the animal go This species has suffered enough at the hands of man
