Custom Blade Polishing

I decided to polish the blade on the first custom knife giveaway. I explain my reasoning behind it in another video I will load shortly where I start making the handle which will probably be a blend of number 1 and 3, ifyou saw the other handle video.

@Laggeros hahah well thank you very much for the kind words. Im certainly not an "artist" just a hobbiest really. But I have alot of fun doing it, and its just nice to have somthing that no one else has... :)

Nice polishing job. One tip I've found to prevent 'SHITS" is to use a length of heat shrink tubing over the collet chuck. That way, if you do touch the work with the chuck, it won't mar it. Since you only finger tighten the chuck, the heat shrink wil last a long time. I agree totally about the Dremel - it is a wonderful, versitile power tool. Thanks for posting.,

Nice video, Looks great. Only suggestion I have is to solid mount the dremel on the edge of your workbench and that way you have more control of the knife and really work that polish. Just my opinion. What type of polish are you using?

i polished my knife with dremel in about 2 hours (using two hands helps alot) and damascus is pretty hard to mirror polish anyway. Nice video anyway^^

beautiful work i love the blade id go for surgical sharp i cant sharpen a knife to save my life but i love them
