you're right, it must be a little bit hexagonal looking when it's smaller, then it's rounded properly in the big format.

Actually, I think the rim around the edge overlays the hexagon look to provide a second, circular edge.

smaller pieces are not round, they are like rectangles cut in the center to fit.. i guess

it is not the same uhm.. board for both of them... there's like a ring that pops out and completes the circle or whatever... I don't know how to explaing =(
