The infamous Hanoi Hilton has been turned into a museum: Hoa Lo Prison Museum. The museum's entire collection related to the Vietnam War has been spun into propaganda. At least the War Remnants Museum in Saigon, though also terribly one-sided, has some truth to it. The Hanoi Hilton Museum is one big lie.

This video is running continuously at the museum, and makes it seem like American POWs were at a peaceful, relaxing camp retreat. It's this kind of propaganda that made believers/traitors out of Jane Fonda and the like.

If you would like to know how prisoners were really treated, do some research. It won't take much to figure out they were severely tortured.

  • Look into the eyes of the men they were claiming to be treating so humanely. Their eyes tell the REAL story!

  • @jnv53 Exactly. That's the point of posting this video, to show propaganda. Governments and media spin mistruths non-stop in aggressive pursuit of their agendas. This video is but one more example.

  • Makes me want to puke. I want to take those North Vietnamese gooks and slap them every ways for what they did to to our men. No excuse. "Rabbit"---You would get your shit beat out of you if I could get hold of you. I can't wait to do it.

  • @WilliamDRowlett Don't fool yourself into believing that torture was (or is, in today's conflicts) one-sided. The public doesn't know the half of it. For the sake of balance, also don't forget that the Vietnam War (or "American War," as it is called in Vietnam) was fought on their land, not against neighbors but against Americans and Europeans from thousands of miles away, with the big action started by an NSA-admitted false flag operation. The lies go so deep we'll never know the whole truth

  • There isn't much difference betweet the Viet Cong Gooks and the politicians in Washington....Both LIE!

  • @xxchinookxx Well, it's hard to disagree with the notion that politicians lie and spout propaganda. In any case, it's crazy to me that this video has the most views of any of my youtube vids. It definitely touches a nerve with many people.

  • @reorourke If I was being serious and not sarcastic, my comments would be offensive. I was mocking this N. Vietnamese crapola film by claiming POW's injuries were caused by simple sports injuries. Yet the N. Vietnamese would love to make you think so. It was total sarcasm & you missed it. I don't need a Democrat to give me a lecture assuming I have no military experience which I do have that began in 1973. I was with many people who served in Vietnam. Our POW's were TORTURED! Semper Fi.

  • @dbdublin I'm amazed that I was absolutely joking & yet I still convinced some I was serious.

  • @WilliamRowlett That is incredibly offensive & I'm a Democrat w/ absolutely no love for McCain - however I am an American veteran. No POW was treated as they portray in this video - no POW of any nation in any war has ever been treated that well. And as far as the broom comment is concerned I'm sure you're aware that American service personnel are well familiar with how to clean properly. Too bad you've never stood up to defend your country or you'd know better than the BS you've spouted here

  • Irony of ironies is that you can now find Vietnamese Coca-Cola commercials on YouTube, and nearly every pair of sneaker I own was made in Vietnam.

  • Look into the eyes of the men they were claiming to be treating so humanely. Their eyes tell the REAL story! My man was killed SAVAGELY over there so don't you dare tell me how good they were treated!! They were treated as less than sub human dammit! And the ones who did these things as well as the ones who supported their actions WILL face the wrath and fury of God! Good luck lying to Him!

  • @WilliamRowlett Too bad you didn't get to spend time at the Hao Lo Resort.
