11 out ot ten for effort! This is very, very tricky stuff to attempt, most semi-pros would run and hide if asked to play Steely Dan!
PS I'm a semi pro bassist, but I love Steely Dan, finding other musicians to play it with is really difficult!

The Strat player looks like she could be Walter Beckers daughter!

@ xebio - you might notice that the majority of my comments regarding this band are quite positive - and I greatly appreciate the efforts. Still, I think the choice in the lead singer of this song should be reconsidered - actually thought the girl who sang on "King of the World" was quite good. Love the band here, but this piece needs some work. Please note that I am not alone in the posts here when it comes to saying "Yikes" to this performance.

That "kid" on the sax could likely kick your ass.

The vocals blow, but the rest is very impressive.

I think the little singer is more intersting than Lady Gaga. Nice work. Peg is impossibile to cover and you got my respect for trying. Steely Dan is the best.
@777vegasnites "Yikes'? It's a school! They're students! They are learning! They dare tackle Steely Dan! "Reconsider the proper performers for the tune"? They probably prepared for this for weeks! This is complicated music to cover even by pro adult musicians.
Just to see such young musicians attempting to play Steely Dan puts me in an optimistic mood for the rest of the day. There is hope after all.
At least they'll remember this music forever. The seeds are planted.
WELL DONE
