I helped a single, 21 yr. old, working Mom who has a small child and is pregnant with her second; she has been struggling for a long time just to get food, and basic necessities; having little to no support from anyone. This is not the first nor last time I will help her, but this came at a good time. She had no money to even put gas in her car and has to travel as part of her job—she works F/T for Hospice.
This is someone who gives of herself every day, in so many ways to terminally ill people, so in this case it certainly is being paid forward by her as well.
Thanks for giving me an opportunity to participate in Pay It Forward! What a great idea!

  • My friend Louise reminded me of the fact that I knew a little girl who went to church with me several years ago. I have learned at 21 years of age, she has a child that is three years old and has another child on the way. She is a hospice worker and is a special person who spend her days giving comfort to people who are dying. You can't get any more compassionate than that! In my books, this makes her the most deserving person that I know. God bless her.

  • I have known both Cheryl & the beneficiary of her $20 for about 13 years. That young lady is a phenomenal woman, works as travelling hospice caregiver, an exceptional mother of her 3 year old & has another one due in March. She is a single parent & could use this finanacial boost. Please if you are reading my comment take a moment & bring a blessing to this young woman's life. she is pro-life & helps those facing their imminent death in such a graceful way, alreadying paying it forward

  • Great cause! Your daughter Sara is a very strong and unselfish person--and I admire what you are doing to try and help her!!! Definitely got my vote! I have known you and the kids for so long--she has grown up to be a beautiful soul! DMC

  • This woman has a beautiful heart wanting to help someone that seems to pay it forward everyday by doing one of the most difficult jobs there is. Helping terminal people become comfortable when no options are left. Wow!!! Sounds like the cause she is working for is to help someone in need that gives everyone else her heart and soul. What a way to pay it forward!!! Stacey

  • Great!
