  • this is by far the best introductional video series i stumbled upon.

    coming from the ruby based php framework cakephp, conventions are the most important things i wanted to know.

    and here they are really covered instead of jumping directly into the console and start creating your models/controllers/views/scaff­olds etc.

    good job!

  • Hey, it looks like (from the speed at which he is talking as well as the speed at which he types into the html that he wrote) they sped this video up before posting it on Youtube! But if they didn't, he must keep a fire extinguisher next to his computer keyboard! But I'm a housewife/mom who doesn't know much about computers, really, but just starting to learn Ruby. It is so cool to be able to make something that FINALLY listens to me... ;)
