  • The math is correct but underlying assumption is specious and disingenuous: There is no 1 source (domestic oil, imported oil, natural gas, coal, etc) that provides all of the U.S. energy needs as a sole source. Instead, if we could drill in the relevant sections (yes, the circa 2,000, although I'd say more like 5,000 acres out several million) we would increase our domestically accessible reserves by a high single digit percentage....which is signficant.

  • I would pay for a download of this song...lol

  • I totally agree.. your math is correct.. please tell me what oil field can produce 20,000,000 barrels a day.. don't know of any 480 inch in diameter pipelines out there , with your logic the Trans Alaska pipeline would have never been built..

  • It's estimated that ANWR contains about 10 billion barrels of oil. The US consumes about 20 million barrels of oil every day. If yo do the math, ANWR would supply the US oil consumption for about 500 days. Is it worth it to drill in a wildlife refuge for 500 days worth of oil? This seems like pretty short sided thinking to me.

  • Boy am I glad this is back up. I sent out the original link and all my friends found that the old video had been pulled.

    BRAVO!
