Yes and it is a lot more accurate, this system is accurate to a 32 of an inch. Also having pictures helps if there is any error or change in cabinets

sandstone is like limestone, it can be cut with a diamond blade and you can sand it, to remove scratches you have to sand the surface with a 220 grit sandpaper until scratch disapears. if scratch is to deep you will need to fill first with glue and then sand to matching finish
