  • @MrSFblack bahahaha I love this post

  • @mcrpunk100 Guns n Roses and Metallica and "MCR" all sound the same to me. Stop going to a video about death metal and complaining about people liking what they like. I like what I like you like what you like. Who fucking cares? Get off the computer and go outside.

  • people, think about it. is this really the sort of shit you wanna spend your life listening too? when there's guns'n'roses, pantera, metallica and everything. every song sounds the same, he sounds like he's on the shitter. this is a racket. not music.

  • @cooljj82 agreed

  • @mikemunyon1 Well there is a big difference in being where something came from and adopting something. The fact in question is not if Korn did or did not adopt from previous bands, they like all bands inevitably do. The question is what have they contributed, and the answer is nothing. There is no band that has come after Korn, that will contribute towards the progression of metal musically that is heavily influenced by Korn. Doesn't mean you can't like them.

  • @cooljj82 i should have reworded it, i should have said "do you know where they adopted the modern heavy guitar sound at the time?"

  • @cooljj82 i know they were first, but death metal bands pushed it further with the heaviness of the guitar, so thats what you hear in korn's sound, believe me i know the roots of heavy metal, i'm not a dummy when it comes to music, i never was interested in sports and all that crap when i was a kid, i was in the house or at a friends house just constantly listening to music & playing guitar, i understand that its hard for you to believe that, but its the truth

  • @mikemunyon1 I will explain to you where tuned down guitars came from. It was decades before death metal. Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath in the late 60s tuned down his guitar. His fingers were damaged as a factory workers and the looser strings made it easier for him to play. KNOW YOUR ROOTS, SON!

  • @cooljj82 explain to me where tuned down guitars come from? death metal, in songs like lies, fake, helmet in the bush, jonathan during those songs he used the deep guttural vocals

  • @cooljj82 yeah, their influenced by it
