  • ...reminds me of Lackawanna, NY. Bethlehem Steel. When REAL people ran the USA. Not the pack of phonies who had to con their way to the top. Scab-Nazis: the post WW2 infected politico-membrane which formed over the open socialist-wounds left from that war. A poisoning of the minds of the American youths- Right out of their careers in the trades, manufacturing and the really decent wages and benefits it created. All the LibNazis left for you are MacJobs and welfare. Plus The "smell of" elitism...

  • well maintained locomotives....

  • My mom use to work there.

  • What a awesome video. I think something that has been lost in the modern age, is the fact that a some of this old machinery was perfectly suited to this type of industrialization. As far as pollution goes, what is different today is that a great deal that is being emitted into the atmosphere today is "not" visible because of scrubbers, but is more deadly and unmonitored. Wonderful to see this old equipment still being utilized and maintained, a window to the past seldom seen today.

  • wow just look at all this dust, gas, burning and pollution...yep the Chinese governments are surely making a greener world!

  • The Chinese understand what a real train looks like :)

  • @koppie101 YEP! Imagine if you could have the oxide/ sulphur pollution too! Lovely. The smell of it....

  • Interesting observation. These guys know what they are doing!

  • I don't know the answer to that one except that in my vid clip he did not spray the steam at the motion.

  • Me too. Exactly.

Just one question, when they tried steam cleaning at Stratford (East London) they found that the water floated the lubricating oil out of the oil keeps and the bearings leading to damaging wear. How do they get around this problem here?
