This is a memorial tribute to my parents Thomas Joseph Hastings and Maura Agnes(Cuffe)Hastings who emigrated from the village of Leenane situated at the tip of the Killary Harbor, Connemara,County Galway, Ireland to Boston in 1948 to find work and start a family. They settled in Quincy, MA in 1957, had five children and 13 grandchildren. While they may have left Leenane long ago they never lost contact with loved ones or let go of the ways, memories, faith or values that they learned there. All who met them liked them and all who knew them loved them. This is set to the music "Weep not for the Memories" by Seamus Egan of Solas. Thank you for the song.

just meet a cousin from boston on my mums side who i never knew about had a great time made me think about the great irish family we are the fitzpatricks of cashleen connemara who you wont know but i found this lovely tribute by mistake and thats a very nice posting to a well loved couple you did them proud
