Yul Brynner's final film appearance: a four-minute dream-sequence cameo in FUTUREWORLD (1976), in which he quasi-reprises his android gunslinger role from WESTWORLD (1973).

Digital video shot from a TV screen playing VHS. (FUTUREWORLD has not yet been released as a region 1 DVD.) Dog barks are ambient noise and are not a part of the original film.

  • Future world just didn't do it as well.

  • Yeah, but he was a robot. They could have just made a new one that looked the same.

  • Odd. But then my Yul Brynner fantasy dreams are odd, too. His "Attack with what? Noodle Soup?" line from Cast a Giant Shadow shows up often. And Brynner in breeches and jack boots in Triple Cross. And the Shall We Dance scene from The King and I. I admit I've never dreamed about him swinging me around with a rope, but there's always tonight.

  • What an odd make-out session. LOL

  • A man wants to make love to Blythe Danner? Now THAT'S science fiction and fantasy!

  • bark....bark

  • Westworld is about as good as a B-Movie can ever hope to be - great film! When they made this load of pants they forgot they should have been making another fast, cool B-movie and overdosed instead on running around power-plants, endless jibber-jabber and this weird epitaph for Yul Brynner. The ending says it all, with PF giving the finger - if he'd blown a raspberry too, that might have saved the film. What a disaster!

  • this movie in on Hulu now!! just added

  • Does Yul think she's a dog?

    LOL!

  • Even with Peter Fonda in Futureworld, it was a tough act to follow with James Brolin, Richard Benjamin & Yul Brenner. Westworld was a one of a kind phenominon of a movie. Never seen anything like it since.

  • I saw this movies as a kid , but I almost remember nothing , but I knew he apeared on the second part... which I think was not exactly a second part , but whatever...
