Bengal to be very true is not much dependent on Industries for Employment. Because it is very fertile and has very large supply of crops. It is not like Maharashtra where crops are very low production compared to other states and so it has to depend on industries for survival.
And in the name of employment, companies will bring candidates from other states like UP and Bhar and flock Bengal. And same thing will happen what happened in Mumbai.
Local people are never benefitted.

TMC is absolutely perfect in handling Bengal issues. Mamta Banerjee is a good human, she walks on the street like a common person among the crowds without having Force Guards, inspite of being the CM of Bengal.
Have you seen such guts? I personally have met her and was shocked that the CM of a state comes to me on Esplanade Crossing walking freely and asks me how I am?
She has rejected to stay at the CM's Mansion.
She reminds everyone of Swami Vivekanand.

MAHATMA GANDHI AFTER INDEPENDENCE MOVED MAXIMUM INVESTMENTS FROM BENGAL TO BOMBAY BECAUSE OF HIS GUJJU AFFILIATIONS. THE BHABHA ATOMIC PROJECT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BUILT IN BENGAL WHICH GOT SHIFTED. THIS TYPE OF DIRTY POLITICS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED BY THE FATHER OF THE NATION. THE THAKERAYS NOW CLAIM THAT MUMBAI IS THERE OWN PROPERTY WHICH HAS BEEN OPPOSED BY THE GUJJU COMMUNITY IN MUMBAI CONSISTING OF PEOPLE LIKE MAHESH BHATT. I THINK GUJJUS SHOULD NOW DEVELOP GUJRAT.
