Joe and I building a boat in my driveway. The total costs so far including 10 oz fiberglass and 5 gallons of epoxy resin is $684.32. You need a circular saw, plainer (hand or electric, Screw gun, Hammer, coping or jig saw and a lot of imagination and tough will. The plans we used were from Spira International @ spirainternational.com. Jeff Spira has designed a lot of frame and plywood boats and is extremely helpful and encouraging.
By the looks of the Boat you should Have 1 a Kealson 2 atlest 2 more stingers and Fill in some Gaps were the Frams hit the Keal other than that Nice attempt :)

Hi. Just wondering how you were able to apply the epoxy resin on curved surfaces. won't the epoxy resin drip? I am thinking of doing a papier mache sculpture and coating it with epoxy resin. I need the sculpture to be hollow so it won't be as heavy, which is why I am deciding to only coat it with epoxy. do you think it would work? thanks :)
