Castelli is dedicated to speed and performance -- speed through aerodynamics and reduced weight, but also speed by helping the human body to perform at its maximum potential.

We design our garments to help blood flow to the muscles, to help maintain the body at its optimum operating temperature, and to smooth the air flow around the body in real world situations. We then test and refine, test some more, and refine some more, on the road and in the wind tunnel.

Evolving from the successful partnership with Cervélo TestTeam — who has some key riders including World Champions Thor Hushovd and Emma Pooley, the new Garmin-Cervélo squad will allow Castelli to continue to refine striking new technologies designed to improve performance both by reducing aerodynamic drag and by helping the athletes perform well in all conditions, from the cold of Belgium in March to the heat of France in July.

We made a strong statement about Castelli innovation and performance with the Free Aero Race bibshorts and Aero Race Jersey which could save about 12 watts of power at 40 km/h compared to a standard cycling jersey.

The Summer 2011 Rosso Corsa products takes that commitment to excellence to an even higher level with the BodyPaint products.

BodyPaint concept is all about eliminating seams, stitching, and irritation by engineering all the traditional components of the short into a single piece of fabric with a nearly seamless construction and light compression for muscle support.
