Bitler's Sticklers: Current, Howard, Aube, & Garber-Biggs

Intro to Sociology project for Dr. Josephine Bitler at Alpena Comm. College, Alpena, Mich. April 2011. Mock news report with a serious and satirical look at the city's Northside which has gained a reputation throughout the town's history of being a bad area. Instead of being on the wrong side of the tracks, it happens to be on the wrong side of the Thunderbay river where a majority of the industry is located. Dust, debris, and odors have contributed to this reputation through the years, and the stigma that exists today is redidual from that affect, though some of these conditions (especially the odor) still exist today.

this was a good video with good information. Like how they had other people that lived in alpena on there video that talked about the past in alpena and experiences there. how they used the style as news reports was a good idea. this video deserves a B

This movie was a good concept and had sourceful iformation it related alpena and the northside in a cultural and social recognition, though it had to be analyzed, it did not completly come out and say it but it did cover it. I liked the news styled idea behind it. All in all i would give this video presentation a B nice work
