IT WAS NOT A "ROMANCE"! HEMINGS (a white-skin, brown-hair, grey-eyed Quadroon, look-alike half-sister of Jefferson's dead wife) WAS A 12 YEAR OLD ENSLAVED GIRL WHEN JEFFERSON 1st SEXUALLY ABUSED her. He didn't "start raping his slaves". He certainly fathered Sally's children. But she's the only slave he was ever known to be with. In fact, Sally was really the only woman he was known to be with since Martha died. Whether it was rape depends upon Sally's own views of the subject. She appears to have never been with anyone since Jefferson and, according to her own family, tended his grave until her death. I think there were some genuine feelings between the two.

you never thought about black people living as white they say 30 percent of wht americans have black ancestry through slavery but i think it i s much more , also 90 percent of those whts with blk ancestry through slavery come from the southern usa
