minimum 12,000 hours...These girls dedicate the majority of their lives to gymnastics. Apart from a small hop on her last tumbling line and being a bit low on her front punch... she nailed it. Carly may not have been as consistent as others at lots of big meets, and she may not have the lines and artistry of the big Russian names... but on that day, she put down the best floor routine of her life and good on her. On any day, any one the top ranked girls could win it. I was her day.

Dont go overboard, i never said anything about legendary, Kim Kelly is a whole different story, why must you compare everyone? Carly has won many titles in nationals, worlds, visa and olympics, get your head on straight buddy

So working hard does not mean you are a legendary gymnast. I am sure Kim Kelly even worked hard. Carly will never be in the league of the truly great American gymnasts like Miller, Liukin, Johnson, or Retton.
