One of the most challenging wilderness hikes in the Vancouver area that is accessible by public transit. From Lynn Headwaters Park, past Norvan Falls, across Lynn Creek and up the Hanes Valley and the infamous rock skree, ending at the Grouse Mountain Skyride. The trail opened late this year due to the big snow pack and high creek levels. With Polly, David, Dan and the other David (on camera) and millions of bugs on Labour Day Monday Sept. 5, 2011.

  • Water levels in Lynn Creek are no problem. Any foot wear will do it. But bring bug spray!

  • How are the water levels on Lynn Creek? Is it crossable in boots yet, or is a barefoot/sandal crossing the better option?
