Great lesson and what effect are you using?

Nice lesson man. Ive been playing this song for a while now and get a little rusty at times but with your video im not missing a note.

it's interesting everyone has a different take on this solo. In the recording, the 16th triplets are like 12 notes per run, whereas you have eight notes per run, best as I can tell. esp as I listen to the recording... there is a Bb ending the run before the A ... but you end with the A as the highest note. Anyway your version sounds really good.

on how much bmp is metronome when u are playing scales ?

@METALMEATPLOW I'm a total newbie at guitar - I bought my guitar, practiced the scale climb "part 7" for an hour or so every other day for a month and got it fairly well (not full speed though, half at least). The fingers learn - magic :) Then the "part 8" came all by itself within 10 minutes or so. Moving to the third part now, a little more difficult. Problem I have is that other strings keep ringing unintentionally - that's the really hard part.

great job man! u r jake;)
Those scale climbs obliterate me. Any advice for someone at the end of their rope and plateauing HARD on guitar?

@METALMEATPLOW yeah, slow down and perfect it in slow, might take you 2 or 3 hours, then gradually speed up a few bpm at a time. i think i learned this at about 90 bpm (guessing) then i went up 5 at a time until i got it up to speed. put the track in some audio software and time stretch it to slow it down. cubase does it superb!.

didn't, they were all wrong. I slowed it down bud, and sussed it that way.
