The Lebel lock hurts way more then the CrossFace.....The lebell lock is injuring ur head and arms at the same time, because of 1 leg over and 1 leg below it, while cross face, only hurts ur head.

Micheals taught bryan how to first start out with basics, if you watch his NXT rookie promo video package where he introduces himself he says right out of high school he went straight to san antonio to get trained so micheals taught him how to wrestle, but regal taught him how to get better.

No CM Punk mentions it all the time and he even said it on RAW once or twice.
Another person who said similar was Brian Kendrick. Plus it's VERY WELL known that William Regal is the one who spent the most time training Daniel Bryan. He started with HBK but it was under William Regal's training in MCW (WWE developmental) that he got the "American Dragon" nickname.
I was not with them but duh I read books, articles and actually have spoken with ties in the business.

William Regal trained Daniel Bryan. HBK just took Bryan's money.
Regal spent the most time mentoring Daniel Bryan in Daniel's career and that's why Daniel used to wear all red. His attire was paying homage to William Regal.
William Regal is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world dude. HBK is/was a showman and while HBK is the bigger star, William Regal's the better wrestler.
WWE simply dropped the ball on him.
