Dissertation - YouTube - Community

As part of the YouTube network I would like you to help me.

Im doing a dissertation on how user groups can support each other and how the 'new' technology we use (YouTube, Skype, FaceBook and the many others that I am forgetting) are affecting communication.

I have developed a questionnaire but have realised that too many of the questions could lead to yes or no answers which is not really what I want.

So is there anybody out there who could give me some good quality information as to why and how our networks and technology work?

It might be anecdotes of how things have been achieved or pointers towards theory or technology I might not have thought of.

The other thing is that its pretty urgent as Im looking for some last minute information to give a bit of substance to something that I think is too techy.

Just before it started, the producers of the Lily Allen show set up a group on here. They asked for people to send them videos to 'make Lily laugh' ... I sent them a few videos and the next day I got a phone call from a producer @ Princess Productions. I then did a day of filming for a sketch (which wasn't used) BUT after they got stuck with a feature they gave me a call asking me to film some footage for the show. I did, and I got on tele. Plus Lily Allen said I was fit...WIN! =]
