Common misconception. Piroflipping is piroetting while doing flips without regard to the axis of the flip. Chaos is stationary piroflipping while rotating the lateral flip axis around CW or CCW in steady progression. It can be done in many ways but for one example: An observer would watch the model flipping toward him, to his right, away from him, to his left, toward him again. Not just those four points but progressing incrementally between them in controlled fashon.
what you're basically describing is a 4-point tic toc, i believe.
i'm still not quite sure what the difference is between a chaos and a piroflip, but im quite confident that this video is of a chaos (and a pretty good one i might add)
