In this combination I first mix the studio version of Lights with the Live version. After that I use two different Live versions of Stay Awhile. One from Greatest hits live and the other from Captured.

Steves awesome voice sounds just as good or better than the studio version,more intense,thats hard to do unless your really great singer.

No wonder Master Perry got sick of touring. Look no further than the tour schedule in the jacket of "Captured" album - grueling and cruel. And he really sang his heart out, just as you could listen here. I think his vocal texture was just phenomenal then, leading to the much revered "Escape" album. People talk about how great Robert Plant was in his peak, which he was, but Steve Perry takes a back seat to no one in my book.

I was a 70's teenager too, I remember growing up listening to Steve w/ Journey , THE best music EVER!!!!!!!!
