WHERE DO YOU BUY PREMADE ANKO?! i have been looking for it for AGES at my local asian store but i can't seem to find it. any tiops on where to look?

Hi~ Yes you can add some any color you want!and
I usually add some green tea powder for green Mochi
Very little drops of red color for make pink Mochi.
Cook some yellow squish for make yellow color of Mochi.

This is the second method I've found. The other says to mix the sweet rice flour and water together then wrap around bean paste balls and drop in a pot of boiling water.they put it in a ginger soup. It's on a blog called "Use Real Butter"
