Celebrating Earth Day at Marra Farm
This year, Compendium celebrated Earth Day by serving as volunteer farmers at Seattle's historic Marra Farm. This beloved farm is one of the last two remaining pieces of original agricultural land left over from the days of Seattle's Italian immigrant truck farmers. Today, Marra serves as a model urban community farm, growing tons of fresh organic produce that is then donated to local food banks and senior lunch programs.
We were proud to till the ground, spread compost and pick weeds for Marra Farm (and had a good time while making great memories too).
Happy Earth Day everyone. Lets make every day Earth Day!
