John King of CNN and commentator Fareed Zakaria both hit the nail on the head perfectly as they analyze the slow and "meandering dance" that Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama has engaged in for the last 5 months with the brutal Regime of Syrian Dictator Bashar Assad.
The US may finally call for Bashar Assad to "step down" this week, a statement they are five months late in making.
These Commentators point out that Syria is a Gangster State where the leaders are only interested in staying in power and who will not resign from power just because of a few sanctions and a few "tough words" from the international community and who will probably go on killing his own civilians.
These commentators paint a bleak picture of Syria and they explain how Assad will not be moved by verbal condemnations, and will not be defeated by sanctions, and that the regime has strong financial support from Iran, and is determined to fight to the end, like Gaddafi, and that these mafia-like gangsters in Damascus will slaughter every Sunni in the nation, all 19 million, in order to stay in power, , which all leads to the unspoken, but inevitable conclusion, one which many Syrians inside the country actually do support, which and that the US must put together a coalition of Nato, Turkey and some Gulf Arab country forces to invade and liberate us from the Assad Regime. An armed military intervention from the Western Democracies will be able to walk into Damascus as the Assad army would either flee or defect, and a Grateful Syrian Nation would become a strong Western Democracy and Ally, which in the process would neuter the Iranian Terror Regimes dreams of hegemony in the Arab world.
Obama should have just minded his own business and stayed out of it we do not have a say in what the leader of another country should do.

It is better for Bashar Assad to step down immediately. Every day at least 20 people are killed brutally for demonstrating against injustice. All the economic sanctions on Assad's are useless because the murders of demonstrators are getting more brutal day by day.

I agree with Zakaria, I don't understand what's taking so long, and if sanction hasn't worked with Bashar Ass-wipes before, I don't know what good it's going to do now.
we need to send our fighter jets and set his Ass on fire.

@SYRIANLION82 there is nothing worse than Assad today, to find someone as brutal and hatred filled as Assad we need to go back to Nazi's Hitler.
we need to bomb his Ass today, not wait few more months after 10s of thousands have been killed by
Ass-wipes Assad.

Leave Syria alone! There is worse oppressors out there, like the fat illiterate Saudi PIG! F what he has to say about Syia, he wont even let women drive. Women are Ambassadors in Syria. In Saudi Arabia, women live behind 20 ft walls prisoners in their own homes. Bashar will stay, who cares what Obama says, hes not America, we all hate him & what they are doing. We have hungry seniors, & disabled people with no place to live!
