Laqured flutes are terrible. They're made of cheap metals and are nickel-plated. They're not worth it, and they usually tend to break easily (like those bargain flutes at Costco).

Try getting something made of a precious metal instead, like silver or gold, mostly if you continue your flute playing. :]

alright it's a nice looking flute and all BUT the sound of those flutes are so bad, they are quite crappy.... and i think ur a good flute player but you might need to get a silver plated one with a silver head joint for that projecting sound... :D good luck

you'll never reach higher notes after a while because your flute loosens, nickle plated flutes cannot withstand pressure up to high notes. Silver Plated are traditional and can endure up to very high octives.
