@tommy021086 you feal pretty stupid dont yea?

Your daughter looks about the same age as my son. She should probably have a Coast Guard approved PFD on, just a thought on safety. Hope you're enjoying your boat

Dude, Bad judgement _ possibly... until you know the boat and the abilities I would strongly suggest you us the Lanyard and Kill switch. And the young folk should probably be safer with a life vest. However Nice Video just the same.

and don't forget to change the oil and gear lube after 20 hours. also, no prolonged idling during break in. happy boating!

just to let you know, when we bought our 175 we were told not to go over 3500 rpm for the first 20 hours and, sorry if it sounds controlling but water becomes like concrete, fall out (perhaps a wake you didnt expect) and you are knocked unconsicous, boats dont do emergency stops, people drift and move out of sight quickly, especially in waves, so without a lifejacket it is a high risk of drowning quickly so all people on the boat should wear a lifejacket, and driver should also use the kill cord

was the boat brand new? did you forget about the break-in period? no "full throttle" for the 1st 10 hours, then only real brief for the next 10

Yes it was brand new... Nothing about breakin was ever mentioned by dealer.. When I got back I asked the marina operator about break in because I knew there should be one. He gave me the info as you just mentioned.. Only shot at full throttle was what you saw here.
