My big bad doberman getting chased by our green cheek conure. No animals were harmed during the making of this film.

thats REALLY irresponsible; that little bird could be killed or severly injured by one errant paw swat or misstep by the dog. I have a doberman and a parrot and i NEVER permit my dog to act like this around the bird; my doberman HAS to step SLOWLY and CAREFULLY around the bird, any sudden movement by my dog is INSTANTLY and STRONGLY corrected, so my dog knows that only the most slow and carefuly movements around the parrot are permitted or no contact is permitted at all.

love!~ we have a house full of poodles, a pom, and an african grey!~ Dobies are such a sweet and gentle dog. BIG BABIES, they are.

If the dog accidentally scratches the bird, it will be a gone. Dogs carry bacteria on their nails that can kill a bird.

hehe my conure gets that way around toes.

He just hates toes...fingers are okay...but he gets very pissed off around toes :P

Some of these people are freaking out way too much. Clearly the dog knows and is trying to not hurt him. Anytime he almost steps on him he's quick to move. I do agree that accidents happen but the dog wouldn't hurt him on purpose. They were playing.
