I get that snakes also needs to eat - I like snakes myself and would love to get some snakes myself some day. I also get that of course, in order to get food for them, you have to breed rats.

What I don't get is how you can treat those poor animals like that. That is animal cruelty. Rats need space, they need to climb, they need various food, they need stimulation. Not giving them that is just cruel and heartless.

Gulzebra, I'd venture to wager that my rodents live a far better life being involved in a large breeding colony than any aquarium rat out there, especially those that lives a null existence all alone. thanks for the comment

Norte4life, Thanks for the comments. The racks are custom. I use Co2 gas to put the rodents down. First clutch is doing great thanks. I've got many other videos in the making.

wh00h0069, I like the bottles because it's less maintenance and zero floods. I've used auto water before and I like bottles better but thanks for the comments.

hay i have a big Q. do mice inbreed? i need to know this becouse i am gunna get a snake and i need to get some feeder mice for breeding becouse the closest pet store to me is about 1 and a half - 2 hours away. and if so how many mice will i need to get (males and females).if you know the info i am lookin for please be a pal and share it :). thanks to all that help

You need to hug them, kiss them, tell them bed time stories, offer TV programs to them, bring them to the theaters, that is truly humanity to them. Oh, sorry, not humanity but ratity, to be exact. Do not feed snakes with rats.
