  • Is it in restoration or did they sell it?

  • It cannot be sold as it is on indeffinate loan to the railway (or was donated). Who knows how long it'll be before a start is made on the restoration :( .

  • Nice stuff, wheres that taken from? Is it near Minfordd?

  • Boston Lodge Halt

  • Was the Camera moving or did the earth move?!

  • No, I just need a Tripod!

  • Unfortunately Mountaineer was out by the time I got there. The railway I reside at has - a 1912 Alco 2-4-4-2 Mallet which is currently in the same state as Mountaineer. She can't pull as much as our larger engines, but sounds awesum "rocketing" along at 40kph. Great to hear Mountaineer powering it out though.

  • ah Mountaineer, my Fave NG engine.....

  • Ahh yes, I've stood at that very crossing!

  • wow, very nice

  • Hey dont knock the camera man its a good video. And the way they thrash those engines I woudnt be surprised if the earth did move.
