The day Bin Laden was terminated and Obama announced it on the news. You should have watched Fox news and the republicans. They were just as shocked as Bin Laden was when "not" Navy seals, that what they say, but Delta Force Soldiers invaded his compound and terminated him.

The CIA under Bush/Cheney was used to torture-up intelligence that connected Iraq to 9/11 (which failed, proving torture doesn't work). The intel culture under Obama was focused on his STATED national security priority, kill bin laden/crush alqaida.

Obama said he'd do it, attempted it, and succeeded. Bush said he'd do it, barely tried, and failed. Distribute credit accordingly.

@cKunke2 No, President redirected more resources in the hunt for Bin Laden. He did that when he came into office. Obama should get full credit Bin Laden's demise. He did exactly what he said he would do as a candidate and deserves full credit. This was totally Obama here and for once, give the man credit.

@scfloyd1 Bush did have a chance to get Bin Laden. He really had 3 of them but the most important one for you to google on is Tora Bora. He was cornered and it was known where he was. All that was needed was for the US to send in troops to get him. The US instead pulled back and let the locals "go get him". They went and got him alright. They got him and moved him out of harms way and then to a nice villa where he could be reasonably safe so long as the US didn't really want to get him.

@AlmostAlwaysFabulous I would differ from you in that Obama did make it a top priority of things to accomphlish. This is evident by simply watching this video, for he spoke of Osama bin laden several times during his campaign in 2008. I think if Bush would have focused more on Osama, instead of attacking Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with 9-11, he may have a chance to get Bin Laden. What i like here, and somthing most conservatives should like is that Obama kept his word. Obama got em.

Mind you, Obama had NO confirmation that he was actually there. That's where the balls come in. I give both of them credit, but to be fair, Bush followed up on Clinton's policies as well. There is video proof of Obama making hunting OBL a top priority in his campaign, and he accomplished this using intelligence! He sent a small team of the best guys there and because they did not bomb the place, they gathered potential gold mines from his house.
