  • I think the heads have sqaure port design. I used mac mid length headers and matching Y pipe. That way it didnt interfere with the slave. I had to drill new holes on the flange for the first and last bolt. Other than that they slid right in. On my old third gen I used heddman longtubes and those hit the slave so I ended up cutting off the collector to shorten it.

  • video is up,, look it up under my username

  • I took one with my phone when the cut out was closed. So its going through the bullet AND the Magnaflow catback. Ill try to load it up ASAP.

  • I used a t5 out of a 90 camaro

  • i just wanna know what all you had to do to do the swap.... likle pulleys and such... what all did you you use for a distributor and carb and such.. also was there anything you ran into when installing the motor and hooking up the fuel pump... anything you had to do to the wiring thaf of stuff

  • @fletchman96 The only thing that stayed from the engine wiring is the starter pigtails. The sensors and such can stay if you want to reuse them. Other that the rest o the wiring got chopped off.

  • @camaroboricua HI I GOT A FEW PROBLEMS MAYBE YOU CAN HELP WITH DOING SAME THING PUT OLD SCHOOL 350 IN USED 3RD GEV 5 SPEED TRANS BUT HEADERS NOT WORKING HAD TO MOVE ONE TUBE TO CLEAR SLAVE CYLINDER BUT THAN RELIZED HEADERS ARE FOR D PORT HEADS AND WONT SEAL UP TO A SET OF TRADITIONAL HEADS HEADERS ARE LONG TUBE PACE SETTER ARE YOUR HEADS D PORT IF NOT HOW DID YOU GET HEADERS TO WORK THANKS

  • do you have an updated vid with a different exhaust?

  • What lind of transmission did you use ?

  • @fletchman96 Any sbc pulley set up should work. Mine is a serpentine from my old 90 camaro. The distributor is an MSD HEI unit hooked up to the ignition. The carb is a holley model # 3310. To make the distributor fit you have to cut out the top of the firewall all the way to the vertical part of the firewall. The engine will mount to the original lt1 engine mounts but it will only use 2 of the bolts per side. The headers are lt1 style.
