  • Don't get caught up in the trick that Repub's are bad and Dem's are good. They're both bad. Bad for you as they both grow big government and spend big money. Money neither of them have. And they don't ask for your permission to do it! Don't get the Obama goose bumps. Neither major party is the answer!

  • hail the republic

  • This is EXCELLENT @benjie2429 thoroughly enjoying these videos. Do you happen to have them all combined to watch in a continuous video?

  • Oligarchy is what our gov. in America is. Its supposed to be a dang republic!

  • I think it defines both, technically. Republican forms of gov seem to be quite varied - it means 'authority of the public', or something like that. Democracy is one form of it. Both terms have their issues, and vagaries - Republic of Congo for instance...

  • Referendum voting is the way to go. Participatory Democracy (in which the Federal government has been whittled down to circa 1900 size, and states exercise all their powers)... We actually have an incredible technology now that would be very useful toward that end (the internets)...

  • True that. Considering we have been denied redress of grievances. That's the second to last option we have recourse to. The last option is revolution.

He's not entirely incorrect on everything, but Democracy is *actually* a form of Republic. The problem as I see it is the middlemen, or representatives. We elect them - and do not get to vote on laws, and they vote according to the will of their corporate supporters, not us. The biggest problem is Federal gov. - It simply has too much power.

  • He asks: What kind of government do we have? A Republic!

It is this Republic as instituted and as Tittler refers to from which the People elect politicians who promise them the greatest gifts from the public bank.

If you and I have to agree upon what projects the money we contribute to a public chest is spent, I absolutely GUARANTEE you that far fewer wasteful projects get funded.

  • Now I kn ow this guy does not understand our Founders. He quoted them earlier; then just gave a definition of Democracy.

Tell me: What Form of government is this:

"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the CONSENT of the Governed..."? If nothing else --The Consent of the Governed DEFINES a Democracy.

  • How does this guy get that in a Democracy that the minority lose?

Democracies need not be any more of a "mob-rule" than Republic (like the Republic of the USA) need be non-representative.

  • Oligarchy: Another form =

NON-Representative Republics. We have a small group of people in Congress called "representatives", yet we have no representation IN Congress. Hence... Oligarchy.

  • Democracy = Mob Rule

There are many people who still believe this.

"Teaching is true path towards Learning" YOU MUST TEACH AND INFORM PEOPLE, YOU HAVE THE DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO.

  • What you have just demonstrated was is that:

    1. You are caught up in partisan politics, part of this oligarchy that rules our nation, and really do not hate each other as the media shows.

    2. You are caught up in the media which plays along with "politics" because they want to destroy your liberties as much as our "noble" politicians.

  • long live the republic of TEXAS!!!!

  • It ended..... dang

  • using George Bush as your yardstick makes me think you are clueless as to what you are talking about.

  • What George Bush just demonstrated was that:

    1. the Democrats want to a little of your money and spend it on good causes that benefit you; while

    2. the Republicans want to take a LOT of your money and spend it on AWFUL causes that benefit the infinitely wealthy men who own our biggest and sloppiest and most corrupt banks, and oil companies, and military contractors, such as . . . Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney and George Bush.

  • Sounds like you have all the answers for how to fix it all. Would love to have you come and straighten us all out!

Thanks and we hope to see you soon!

  • Are you being serious? Are you contesting the fact that Paul pulled only 7% in NH or are your feelings just hurt about the fact that the FSP is all talk by paper libertarians? No, I'm not in NH. I had intended to make my move, but then I looked into FSP and I saw through the cute porcupine into how toothless it is.

If you actually moved there then I applaud you for your dedication. FSP was started with noble motives, the organization just needs to return to what it was meant to be.

  • How do you know? Are you even here in NH? Where do you get your silly data? How is it working for you where you are with all your numbers of people coming to your aid? "Uncommitted" you say? Where do you think all of us moved from? How about being constructive rather than a whining bitch?

What good are YOU doing? Jackass.

  • FSP is full of uncommitted libertarians. They want to talk about liberty but still be within driving distance to Boston. I don't particularly agree with Free State Wyoming, but at least they back up the talk. FSP couldn't even stop the smoking ban. Plus, Ron Paul only pulled 7% in the primary with Obama winning the state in the general with 54%. That doesn't sound like people that care about freedom to me.

  • Yes, when are you going? =)

  • How about the tyranny of the largest minority?

  • right i didnt learn none of this well thats cause the goverment took em over

  • Thats great!

The state is about to start the "War on Puppeteers" :P

So when are you scheduled to come up?
