  • 2 strokes FTW! Nothing better then hitting the powerband just right.

  • Good explanation.

  • @Anoush13 if theyre flawed why are they so popular..

  • WOW a howitworks video, that actually is informative and not all BS! kudos to you!

  • @TheTechController yes its possible and it happens, thats why it uses more fuel then 4 stroke engines.

  • This design is very flawed. Fuel and air can easily go through the exhaust making the engine be much less efficient. Even with direct injection, the air can still escape, and there would not be enough air and too much CO2 for the gas to burn properly.

  • This design creates more exhaust smoke, polluting smoke, compared to 4-stroke types...

  • Why doesnt the gas and air go out the exhaust hole as well?

  • A piston that acts like a piston???? LOL

  • what a brilliant design

  • @TheTechController yes some intake mixture does leak out the exhaust. Thats why they are not very fuel efficient

  • just a question on the exhaust.

is it possible for some fuel/air intake to leak through the exhaust chamber or is there a mechanism to close it while the piston lowers. hope this question makes sense, just curious is all. thanks
