Why don't hollywood create good movies like this? Today"s movies make more noise with less of a story. Some idiots call that graphics! Does anyone think in hollywood? My kids love the classics of the 50s, 60s 70s. After 1999, movies in hollywood got worse and worse. No wonder kids love computer games rather than the present day movies.!

clash5j. hello to you today. either spelling suits me fine. i have not seen most of those movies you mention. most of my time now is spent reading and listening to music. maybe if there was someone to enjoy a movie with i would watch more. i think i might like to see City of God. the title gets my interest. The Last King of Scotland is something I would like to watch. wife died several years ago and i do not watch movies much anymore. i like to listen to jazz and folk music these days,meditation

I loved this movie! I just feel that all eras have good films as well as bad. To Kill A Mockingbird is a classic. Bastards is the proper spelling, but Tarantino spelled it Basterds for the film. :)

Million Dollar Baby is a good movie as Gran Torino is. But not like this. This was a powerful movie with a tremendous statement To Kill a Mockingbird. Ever seen it. But Clash5 you seem to know good cinema from utterly bad. What about Books? The Lord of The Rings books were great, but I could not watch the movies to completion. City of God would be good. And it is Bastards not basterds. You have a wonderful day.
