Get out! That's amazing because I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S750 that has the same features, and I recorded some Jones Beach stuff on there. My stuff is nowhere near as crisp as yours! I'll have to check out the W290. Sucks that you can't zoom while your filming, right? With technology nowadays, its like...why not??? Thanks for getting back to me, man! I have seen Phish numerous times and I think that Asheville's show was in the top 2 shows with the other being Sugar Bush in 1995. Thank you PHISH for the best ever!

Glad you like it, nicu103. This is my first attempt to film concert footage and I am very pleased with the result. I used a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290. It's just a point-and-shoot camera with video capability, but I agree it looks nice and it even sounds pretty good! I was standing near the back of the area, with full zoom. (One drawback is you cannot zoom in and out while filming). Good luck!
