@hallam1994 It feels a little bit sore afterwards but you can walk out of the surgery after it's done.

For what it's worth, I had a lateral release done in 2000 and I know what your going through. The pain initially is unlike any other. It take about 4 weeks to be working hard in rehab and in about 10 weeks you'll be golden. Hang tough and work hard!!! Good luck!!
