The water in iClone works very well for night reflections. The trick is to adjust the wave size and wave speed to make the water look and behave properly for your desired effect. Underwater fog is very important for the underwater shots. Changing the color of the underwater fog is necessary to get the best effect. Also, think reflections and refractions.. use the water to get the best ambient feeling with mixture of sky, light and actor reflections / refractions.

Very nice. I'm going to have to try some water shots at night like that.

So how about a break down to how this was made??
ToadsWarts 2 years ago
Hi ToadsWarts... the project started with a character test of the little green Sprog seen at the beginning. iClone 3 has a set of dynamic Spring props that give that elastic effect when animated. Once I found the fluid movement of the characters using the spring objects, I began building sets. The overall project is actually one set and one complete project shot in real-time. Texturing, lighting and particle effects are always important to spend some time tweaking in any project. Thanks ;)

Thanks! I love the intro you made with iClone for your movies. The water effect works well there too.
