In the summer of 2008 i had the chance (and money) to restore my dads old 71 Challenger. So i did and now its tearing up the streets.

My dad bought it and drove it for awhile until me and my sisters came along and he needed a bigger family car. So the last thing he did to it was drop a big 440 magnum and store it .. and it sat in the backyard from 88-08 until i was able to get my hands on it. It was a real backyard resto everything was done in the backyard including paint. It only used outside work for wheel alignment, tarnny work, and stereo hook up.

  • Where did you learn how to restore cars? And great job on restoring it!!

  • @tntrocks13 my dad and me did it all top to bottom ...

its really not that hard you just have to pay attention ... my advice if you dont have someone in your family to help out hire some one but tell them to work at their own pace that way the charge cheaper AND be around them when they work so you can learn everything you can

  • There's this piece of junk challenger sitting at the Auto Store up the street, I want to restore it sooooo bad. You gave me hope man. Now I'm going to cry.
