We created our video "Last Whale Standing" to help spread the word about annual killings of hundreds of innocent whales.

Video consists of three different parts so please watch till the end. In first part we showed you different kinds of whales which humans killed for thousands of years. In second part we showed you how they kill whales today in our modern world. And third part dedicated to people who try to stop slaughter of innocent whales.

We also want to emphasize that whales are killed not only by Japanese whalers, but also commercially in Norway and Iceland, as well in USA, Russia, Greenland, Canada, Bequia, Faroe Islands, Indonesia and illegally in many others countries such as South Korea and Philippines.

If you want to find more information you can read our series of posts Whales, Whalers & Anti-Whaling Movement on our blog ( http://yogzatot.wordpress.com/whales-whalers-and-anti-whaling-movement/ ).

In this video we used BBC documentary series "Blue Planet", Animal Planet recent documentary "Whale Wars" and a lot of video from YouTube. And for the music we used song "Last Man Standing" from British electronic music group Hybrid.

We hope "Last Whale Standing" will help you to understand sufferings of this magnificent creatures and we hope you share this video with your friends.

And please watch this video in High Quality!

  • The gun production country of the world most was Japan in A.D.1500's.

Japanese sailing boat "San Juan Bautista" produced in 1613 performs two times of American coming and going.

In the 18th century, the population of the Japanese capital (Edo) surpassed 1 million people.

  • At that time Japanese literacy rate exceeded 70%.(London 20% Paris 10%)

The city at the time of a thing of Japan was fully equipped with the water and sewage. London and Paris were covered with feces and urine.

It is Europe and America that drove a whale into the extinction.

Your culture cannot do control of the greed.

  • @EgeitiDC Oh Sorry, I had forgotten word of "Coast".

Japan does not do coastal whaling. The Japanese coast overflows with a whale and a dolphin. There are too many a whale and dolphins, and sardine decreases.

  • @Thudothwacker correction: "Universities from other countries"

    thank you

  • Hey! We don't KILL our whale shark intentionally in the Philippines. Some foreign ships violated shipping routes. Some got caught on illegal fishing nets meant for tuna and others. If you are diver, you know what I am talking about. Universities in other countries do their researchs and collect new sea species here
