The State of the Filipino Union (SOFU) Forum will be a one evening event, in which influential representatives from the Filipino community in and around the Toronto/GTA will come together and discuss the current state of Philippine descendants and residents in Ontario.

@Thudothwacker there are a lot of people that love to pretend. Some just use the accent to mock ng tao, if ang maindihan sa tao or if sounds weird para sa sila. Yun' tao think it is funny sa kanila. I find it weird that I laugh at some of them pero I say,"WTF?". Baka, some of them hate themselves because they can't speak Tagalog, Papangan, ilocano, Basayan or w/e. I'm still learning Tagalog so, Aking patawad if hindi pwede bang maiindithan. :)

well a Filipino can be multi-cultural and can mix well to the east or west so we have a dynamic changing personality as time goes by in a hundred and thousand years. come on, we are a diverse cultural people so no one is being imposed but yes you are correct, we can be chinese, europian, western, african or indian...so embrace who we are coz we are not racist and not all filipinos are obsessive compulsive to be famous but we can be great in our own way. gets mo? :)

don't forget our bowling hall of famer, paeng nepomuceno, billiard champs led by efren bata reyes, dianggo bustamante. who designed the moon buggy? who invented the flourescent lamp, the sing-along system from which the karaoke originated. those fish stinking pinoys who make fun of their own are plain stupid and dont have brains, whatever they're doing will boomerang on them.

@twinkletopsable Dj Q-bert and Mixmaster Mike of the famous turntablist band, Invisibl Skratch Piklz both have Filipino heritage. But i believe, the people mentioned in this video are pure-born Filipinos (both parents are Filipinos) not half Filipinos.

thudothwacker was actually saying that people who make fun of filipino accents should stop at what theyre doing because it is not right. he is pro-filipino not the other way around. i know you had good intentions but im sorry to say that it is your comment that makes you look like an asshole, not him. if i were you i'd remove your comment. and say something more constructive. peace.
