  • When I see Charles Manson smiling at 0:36, I don't think of love. I've seen that same smile on many people, each of whom suffers from schizophrenia. It's not a smile of joy, love or happiness, it's a smile of insanity.

I find it mind-boggling that other people cannot differentiate between the cold, mad grin of a psychopath ... and the smile of genuine happiness from those you love.

Either I'm gifted or others are blind. Maybe it is both.

  • Oh, come on, the murderers knew exactly what they were doing, and she did too when she tried to spring Manson. Don't minimize, Catherine.

  • Right on girl ! Truth be told !

  • Gypsy got rid of Shorty Shea's car, and I am sure she was there when they murdered him. Scary.

  • @AmusedChild - don't expect her to admit her complicity anytime soon.

  • Btw, this woman is full of shit......so is Dr. Stone for that matter: one of them is making excuses for her past while trying to profit from it and the other is a "hired gun" from a production outfit looking to place 'product' into a marketplace obsessed with anything but the truth....

  • The interview was in "OUI" magazine; (can't post the link)

It's stunning for its shear candor: a man looking back in the not so distant past (12 yrs at that point), 'telling it like it is' about how he made a series of bad decisions without having any discernible motive for fame, profit, or release from the past.

In fact, at the time of the interview ('81), this guy seemed to think he would be released but realized it would take some time to overcome his association w/ the Manson Family.

  • Read a '81 interview w/ Bobby Beausoleil ("Cupid") in which he recounts what happen the day he killed Gary Hinman in the presence of Susan Atkins & Mary Brunner. He goes on to give insight into the Manson "Family" (which he says was never really a family at all) & that era.

The key thing to note is that Mr. Beausoleil was NEVER a follower & the plausibility & 'cause & effect' of his story cuts through all the hysteria, hype, & lunacy that former Family members & others have exploited......

  • @Hope111ification - Oh yeah. Being able to tell a fake smile from a real one SOLVES MURDER CASES. Of course, that makes perfect sense. Great work. You've just been awarded Non-Sequitur of the Year. If you'd kindly remove the bucket from your head, and your head from your ass to receive the award.

  • @Skindoggiedog wow well you can solve every single murder case in the world . the FBI should hire you, because all you have to do is look at people smiling and you instantly know if they are insane or killers or schizoid just by a smile.. wow my goodness Sherlock Holmes really is inferior to you!

let me guess you? you solved the smiley faced killer case right? Kudos to you sir you are an amazing leg end! Merry christmas and enjoy your festive season . good day :) :D :-> :-) :-D

  • @Chatsworth1968

...Which makes her testimony so much more valuable and her transformation so much more dramatic and even epic. This woman shot at police, probably would have killed for Manson and now listen to her. WOW! This is a big lesson on the human mind and spirit. I love her.

  • Catherine Share is a most formidable bridge between us and the Manson Family and what really happened. What a joy to see the kind of woman she has become after all that that happened. Really gratifying. I hope to find testimony from her about what happened in the minds of Lynette Fromme and Sandra Good after 1970. Did they really think Manson was not guilty of anything, or they know but dindn't mind.

    (please excuse my english)
