Over the course of two days, we take to the East Penn railway to capture evening trains on the entire length of the Wilmington and Northern Branch from Elsmere, Delaware to South Coatsville, Pennsylvania. We'll see former Southern Pacific B30-7 #5114 in the lead with U23B #2206 trailing. We'll see the train as the sun starts to set until it is total darkness. So enjoy this video of night time railroading on the East Penn Railway.

  • Ok, a few things to say or ask about this video:

    1) Why didn't I see this video before?! I LOVE IT!! It's the best video of ESPN I've ever seen.

    2) The scene at 2:45 is just amazing.

    3) I can't believe that guy crossed the train tracks at 5:19. WHAT AN IDIOT. The crossing signals were off for awhile, he might have gotten hit. STUPID.

    4) I love the crossing at 6:12 it's nice. Is that an old station?

    5) Awesome caboose at the end!

    6) What kind of horn is on the 5114?
